His partner Shailendra Singh is knee deep in tieups and strategy.
As a first, the duo have got on their side Sanjeev Kapoor, voted the youngest best executive chef of the country, who will manage the food and beverage (F&B) operations.

Says Sanjeev, "My involvement is complete. And no, I’m not just designing the menu. Once I get the positioning statement, I will prepare the entire F&B brief."
The restobar is spread across a sprawling 9,500 square feet property at Lower Parel, Mumbai. The all-glass bar, a signature space, functions as a standalone with soundproof walls that allow the dining area to have its own ambience.
Cocktails, DJ, big screen and great times apart, it has a speaker’s corner where during cricket matches the crowd can go and vent their frustration through the mike. "Everyone in India," says Shailendra, "is a captain or team manager! Especially during a gruelling match, people want to have their say and in a large crowd with an authentic cricket atmosphere it’s all the more fun. Ours is a place where you can see, feel and enjoy cricket and the speaker’s corner stems from those fundamentals."
And cricket touches are incorporated further. The restobar boasts of a state-of-the-art cricket library that will function as a value addition for both restaurantgoer and walk-in cricket lovers. Available on rent will be books on cricket — great authors, players’ manuals, biographies — and also a colossal collection of cricket matches on DVDs.
